Born and raised in Queens, New York, American-Filipino artist, jawii has long been a force in the rock scene, known for powerful guitar riffs and hard-hitting drum skills. When his band eventually broke up, he continued creating music, expanding his sound and vision. Driven by a desire to break into the EDM scene, jawii draws inspiration from his early love for electronic beats, first sparked at an arcade where he became a DDR master.
